Chanel Jumbo

So I have been dreaming of owning one of the Chanel Jumbo Flap bags for the longest time; however, it seems like I can never afford its price tag. But, it is ok, I will keep on dreaming till I get my hands on one. It is bound to happen one day! [stay positive 🙂 ].

In the meantime, while I am daydreaming about my Chanel bag, I came across these gorgeous bags from Kate Spade! Those bags are gorgeous. Oh My!

I absolutely love the quilted design, well maybe because it reminds me of my dear Chanel bag, but without the price tag.

I also came across this gorgeous Vince Camuto bag. The color is so beautiful. I have been obsessed with this green color lately.

And now, one of the second most favorite bag which comes after my beloved Chanel is this Marc Jacobs Stam Quilted Satchel. Oh Em Gee, it is so gorgeous! And, Yes, of course, the quilted design again!

Now, until I can get my hand on all these gorgeous bags, I will stick around with this bag I got at Marshalls for only $20.00 🙂

A new Love!

I think I just discovered a new love! I am drooling over Deux Lux bags. Oh Em Gee!

They are the cutest bags I have ever seen. The colors, the designs, the patterns, the fun details, and the quality all are just so wonderful!

The hardest part is going to be me trying to decide which color combo I love the most.. Ahhh it is going to be so hard!

Boy do they have an eye for color and details. I am so in love!

Right now they have an amazing deal on Refinery29. You can get $120 worth of shopping when you only pay $60! YES I love deals. It justifies my spending, or at least I’d love to think that it does.

Smackdown. MYGlam bag vs. BirchBox for March

This post will be direct and straight to the point. What I received from both subscriptions for the month of March and what I liked the most.

The Pur-Lisse lip nourisher & the crease brush. The other items will be used only once and normally they don’t capture my attention. Rarely could you judge a product from using it once!

What I like:

I am actually very excited to try all these samples from Birchbox. The sample sizes I received are very decent and way better than the MYGlam samples for this month. Now, it’s already spring and it is the time to start taking care of toning and cleansing your body; therefore, I am excited to be trying the Tea Forte packets. I received three flavors: Cucumber Mint, Honey Yuzu, and Cherry Marzipan. They all sound delicious. Oh how much I love tea!

Also, I am always down to trying new dry shampoos, this one smells delicious. The nail polish color is so pretty and perfect for the spring. The Yogini scent is very relaxing and the blemish cleaner is going to be very handy.

Bottom Line, who is the winner in my eyes for this month?

BirchBox is.

Today’s Hautelook Deal

Hautelook has some amazing deals once in a while. What caught my attention today is this Case-Mate Cross-Body bag. It fits all your necessities for a night out in the town. I love how it has a designated pocket for the cellphone. It will fit my IPhone perfectly. In addition, it can be worn as a clutch!

Plus the color blocking on these babies is super cute. I love all those colors, it’s a hard decision to pick just one!

Recommendation: If interested, get it before they sell out.

The New Clutch

One trend I am absolutely loving this season is the Box Clutch.

Now, we girls tend to love our enormous bags where we carry all our life in. It doesn’t matter how many promises you make, to yourself,  not to carry your whole closet in there, somehow someway it ends up happening. Huge bags are so fabulous, but they are not too fab when you are trying to find your car keys that get  stashed, all the way at the bottom of the bag, with load and loads of unnecessary items on top!

Other time, logging that huge bag with you while shopping, walking around, even a night out with the friends can become very tedious. With all what’s in it, you will probably feel like you are working out your arm muscles. Seriously, many times,  this huge bag can become a substitute for an 8 pounds dumbbells, if not heavier.

The perfect solution to all this trouble is the new box clutch. They come in different sizes, styles, with and without shoulder straps, cross body strap, etc. Bottom line, you can find one that fits your style and purpose. These fabulous clutches carry the necessary items you would normally NEED. There will no room for all that extra “crap”. This is perfect for a night out, clubbing, a dinner, or even shopping. All you need in life in your credit card, a few dollars just in case, your phone, and lipstick for touch ups. We tend to over exaggerate and think we need a whole lot more, but trust me, that’s all what we need.

Mid Way Through Outfit of the Day

It is Wednesday everybody! What that means? The weekend is two days away 🙂

Since these posts seem to be the most popular, I decided to share my outfit with you for the second day in the row. Disclaimer: the skirt might be too short for such a “conservative” environment, but I am still in my twenties and eventually, one day, the co-workers around me will either get used to it, or even retire! Having a huge age gap, between co-workers, creates such a difficulty especially when it comes to fashion. Anyways, here is what I wore to work today:

Lips Stuffed in a Bag

So how do you figure out your favorite lip products? Well, if you are like me, then you have tons and tons of lip products. I have some lipsticks that I forgot I have ever bought. So how do you get to figure out your favorite ones? Simply, by looking through your bags. Yup, it’s just that easy. Usually, the lipstick you like ends up in your bag. In my case, they end up piling in my bag(s). Today I was cleaning my bag and found 9 lip products, including one lipstick I thought I had lost!
Here is the list from left to right:

HELP!

Please, help me pick one. I love the bags from Paul’s Boutique and I think it is time for a new one. I own two of his designs so far. So, now, which one you like the best?

Organization tips: recycled bags

I’d like to share with you some of my organization tips and ideas I’ve learned through out the years.
Let’s start with recycling the grocery bags. I’ve been using this technique for over 9 years now.

Storing Grocery bags can be overwhelming as well as messy sometimes. Therefore, sometimes we just end up throwing them because we don’t want to deal with that. This idea will make storing them easy, neat, and accessible.

Follow these easy steps:
1. Lay the bag flat.
2. Start folding it vertically as pictured into 3 to 4 folds.
3. Grab one of the bottom corners and fold it to form a triangle.
4. Keep forming mini triangles until you reach the point where the bag handles begin to form.
5. Now take the handles and stuff them inside the triangle pocket on the other side. Viola!

Now store it wherever you like. You can put it in a cute container or vase for easy access, or in my case, I store them under my sink.

Valentine’s Pink

Usually we associate red color with Valentine’s day. Well, not this year!

This year has been the year for bright neon colors, and the Hot Pink color has definitely proven to be the color of choice for many clothing articles and accessories out there. I am not a pink girl (shocking!), but I am definitely a Hot Pink fan. It makes everything look sophisticated, glamorous, pretty, yet edgy!

Hot Pink is definitely one of my favorite colors. It is such a beautiful color and it brings glow to my skin. It definitely suits my olive skin tone. If you are not brave enough to rock a Hot Pink outfit, well, this Valentine’s day should be your excuse! Everything out there is in that Hot Neon Pink color, go grab a piece and rock out wearing it on February the 14th.

Neon Love

I just came across this website that has “inspired” designer items. I could care less if the items are inspired by a designer or not, what caught my eyes were those vibrant neon colored accessories.

I love the idea of having a neutral or monotone outfit and then bring it to life with a pop of color through your accessories.
